Cathy tagged me, so I’m it. Welcome to my weirdness:
1. I eat about 150 oz of yogurt each week. That’s a lot of yogurt. This is partly due to the fact that my “List of Snacks I Like” is pretty small. I am picky about snacks. But yogurt…always a great choice. Especially when Mini M&Ms are added as a mix-in. It’s kinda like Marble Slab, but better for you.
2. I take two showers each day and wash my hair both times.
3. As a child I was a compulsive worrier, which earned me a stomach ulcer in the third grade. I’d worry about everything from overdue library books to what if I ended up in prison. Yikes. Thankfully, I outgrew the compulsive worrying, no therapy needed.
4. I go through periods of eating in the middle of the night. I wake up, think “I’m starving”(as in there is no way to go back to sleep unless I eat something), go eat a snack, immediately try to sneak back to bed without waking up Ande, then fall right back asleep. Ande thinks it’s really weird. I was totally embarrassed about it before we got married and didn’t really want to tell him. But he kinda figured it out early on. Now we laugh about it. And hey, there’s always yogurt in the fridge.
5. Publix commercials make me cry. Really.
6. My recurring dream..umm, nightmare, I guess…is that all my teeth crumble one by one and fall out of my mouth. It makes me shudder just thinking about it. Thankfully, it’s been probably six months since I dreamed it, which I think is a record.
So now you know. I tag Megan of a little bit of this, Alina of Coast to Coast, Ande of Holding out for Grace, and Rinnie of Rinnie’s blog. You’re it.
Dearest Kelly,
1. I know I should buy stock in yogurt, but it’s probably too late!
2. Our water bill went down almost 2/3 rds when you left for college. I would rather have the higher water bill, if you hadn’t married such a good guy as Ande.
3. I read a story when you were a little girl (around 6) about worrying about
“puddles when it hasn’t rained yet”. I thought that phrase was a good way to have you not worry so much.
4.What a healthy snack even if it is in the middle of the night.
5.You just love Publix!
6. I’m sure me being a dental hygienist has something to do with that dream. I have probably scarred you for life. But TEETH really are important. (If you have that dream tonight, go ahead, blame me)!!!
I love you and am glad Jesus gave you to me!!!!!MOM
Thanks for sharing – I love you even if you are “weird.”
Ahhh Man! I knew I should have called “time out”. Ok, so I guess I’m “it” now. I’ll get right on it!
Kelly, I will totally do this…only problem I have is choosing between all of my “weird-ities” (new word-look it up under weird)! See…that right there was so weird. :-) I love you.
Kelly, you and Suzy have something in common: nightmares! She has always had the same dream of losing teeth. In her dream she runs her tongue around her upper teeth and they all fall out. Hopefully you two do not have the gift of prophecy.
