ultrasound morning

This morning Ande, Owen, and I were able to see our newest family member again via ultrasound. He/she was flipping around all over the place, which this mommy thought was just adorable. Ande was impressed by how big the baby was and by how long the little legs seemed. Our babe is currently the size of a large peach.

Funny, this time around just seems to be going faster than Owen’s pregnancy did, most likely because every day with a toddler just seems to fly by.

This was Owen’s first time to the little (and I mean little) ultrasound room, and I wondered how he would do in that crowded, possibly boring to him, space. He did great, watching the big screen for the baby the way he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Speaking of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, it was Owen who named this babe. Several weeks back I asked him what we should call the baby. His back was to me. He heard the question, turned, and smiled with eyebrows raised in delight: “O Toodles!!!” he said, laughing. He knew it was funny. He knew HE was funny. It stuck. O Toodles it is.
